For foreign nationals who are unable to return to their home country due to the COVID-19 pandemic and wish to work (part-time) to maintain their livelihood in Japan

It has been decided to permit foreign nationals who are unable to return to their home country or place of residence due to the COVID-19 pandemic and have difficulty maintaining their livelihood in Japan to work (part-time) up to 28 hours a week.

Those who meet requirements and wish to work (part-time) are required to apply for permission to engage in activities other than those permitted under the status of residence previously granted at the regional immigration services office.

Consultations for Foreign Residents in Satsuma Town

Foreign residents who are residing in Satsuma Town (and neighbouring areas) are welcome to come for a consultation in regard to any problems they are facing or are unsure of.

Two consultants (from Vietnam & Japan) will listen to your questions with complete confidentiality. Your questions will not be discussed elsewhere.

(Emails should only be sent in English, Japanese or Vietnamese).

Unreserved consultations are possible, but please be aware that those who have booked will take priority.

FREE LEGAL CONSULTATIONS FOR FOREIGN RESIDENTS

Organised by an Administrative Scrivener from Kagoshima Prefecture and supported by the Kagoshima International Association

Refuse Separation App Sanaru (さんあ~る) Service provided by Kagoshima City

For Residents of Kagoshima City

The Refuse Separation App 'Sanaru' (Three Rs of Recycling: 3R) is a free application that informs how to dispose of refuse appropriately in an easy to follow manner.

How to Use:

Step 1: Download the application for iOS or Android.

If your phone is set to Chinese; English; Korean; Nepali or Vietnamese, the app will change its language accordingly.

Step 2: Input your address and the appropriate refuse collection calendar will be automatically applied.

Step 3: Decide and then select whether or not you would like to receive notifications about collection days and/or information from Kagoshima City.

You can also access Sanaru via the web in a variety of languages such as Chinese; English; Korean; Nepali, and Vietnamese.
